Payroll Accountant at Volt Management Services Limited

We a a HR management company based in Nairobi, looking for a competent person to fill a new position internally.

Purpose: To provide control and monitoring of branch financial accounting, providing head office oversight and assurance of the integrity of the branch financial statements and management of payroll. Scope: Financial reporting, payroll management

Role Activities:

• Accurately maintaining the payroll accounts
• Ensuring payroll is processed in a timely manner
• Handling all statutory deductions from payroll- PAYE, NSSF, and NHIF etc.
• Reconciling payroll account balances
• Maintenance and updating of the payroll system and records
• Liaising with staff and clients on payroll related queries
• Generating payroll reports
• Staff Recoveries Updates

Requirements for the Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any other Finance related field.
• CPA II.
• Two years experience performing all payroll functions;
• Experience in transactions via an integrated and automated payroll accounting system
• Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
