    Principal Analyst

    Job Details

    • Coordinating the analysis of contracts on buyer power cases and reviewing the reports;
    • Leading in the analysis of buyer power cases;
    • Reviewing applications for expansion of branded retail stores and outlets;
    • Analyzing and preparation of reports on cross border issues on buyer power;
    • Coordinating the development of buyer power guidelines;
    • Leading in advocacy initiatives for the Department;
    • Participating in the mediation of disputes between undertakings regarding contracts;
    • Implementing the Departmental deliverables, policies and procedures;
    • Liaising with relevant stakeholders on abuse of buyer power matters;
    • Coordinating the preparation of Departmental reports;
    • Carrying out induction for interns, attachees and young professionals;
    • Participating in the implementation of the performance management system in the department;
    • Assisting in the development, documentation and implementation of quality management systems;

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines:- Economics, Statistics or Business related discipline from a recognized institution;
    • Masters Degree in any of the following disciplines:- Economics, Statistics or Business related discipline from a recognized institution;
    • A minimum period of eight (8) years relevant work experience;
    • Professional qualification and membership to a professional body where applicable;
    • A Certificate in Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks;
    • Demonstrate competence in work performance and results;
    • Proficient in computer applications including Statistical applications;
    • G; and
    • Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
