HJFMRI-KE seeks to hire a Clinical Microbiologist for an upcoming contract. The applicant will be expected to evaluate and provide technical input into all technical procedures at reference and sentinel sites hospital laboratories to improve quality and consistency of data generating in the network. The Clinical microbiologist will provide technical expertise in data interpretation and reporting and translation of AMR data into improved practices, guidelines and policies in human health. The clinical microbiologist will coordinate engagement with healthcare teams and public health professionals and facilitate communication among stakeholders in the surveillance system in support the objectives of the Kenya national action plan and surveillance strategy.
