Manufacturing Accountant at Feast Foods Processors Ltd

Details:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare Journals, accruals & GL reconciliation
• Manage cashbooks and bank reconciliation
• Maintain fixed assets register, prepare depreciation schedules and ensure clean fixed asset register
• Provide the necessary support & audit schedules during statutory audits
• File statutory returns i.e. Vat, Withholding tax,NSSF,NHIF,PAYE and other payroll statutory payments
• Maintain debtors and creditors files and support in payments follow up.
• Support in administration activities
• Support in procurement functions
• Inventory control functions
• Prepare financial statements i.e Balance sheet,P&L & Trial balance etc as required

Education and Experience:

• At least 5 years experience working as a General Accountant in charge of finance in busy manufacturing or distribution company.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related course
• Those with CPA (K) only will also be considered.
