Cleaner at International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI)

Job Description

The cleaner is responsible for maintaining the interior of the main IRC Lodwar Wellness Centre of in the condition required by the lease agreement.

Specific Duties Include

Cleaning

• Ensuring the office is cleaned daily as assigned.
• Make tea and coffee for staff and guests upon request
• Cleaning of the computers, telephones once every week.
• Cleaning of the inside of the windows twice every month.
• Washing dirty utensils, wipe and place them at their respective places.
• Assist in the photocopying of documents.
• Sit in for Receptionist whenever the need arises.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or Support Services Manager.

Additional Administrative Duties Include

• Assist, where necessary in the preparation and processing of IRC communication bills
• Assist in photocopying where necessary
• Assist, where necessary in the preparation of payment requests for administration.

Qualifications

• O level certificate
• Good spoken English skills
• At least 2 years experience
• Basic computer skills
