Academic Coordinator- Middle School at Swaminarayan Academy Embakasi

A reputable and well-established school in Embakasi is seeking to recruit a dynamic, experienced, and results-oriented professional to fill the position of Middle School Coordinator. The successful candidate will provide academic and administrative leadership for the Middle School section, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, discipline, and overall student development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to Middle School teachers
• Coordinate curriculum implementation in line with CBC requirements
• Monitor and track learners’ academic performance and progress
• Develop and oversee action plans to improve academic outcomes
• Ensure effective lesson planning, delivery, and assessment
• Promote discipline and positive student behavior
• Organize meetings with teachers, parents, and students
• Support staff professional development and performance management
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping within the department

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Education (Bachelor’s Degree in Education is an added advantage)
• TSC Registration Certificate
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of CBC and competency-based assessment
• Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to drive academic excellence and manage performance
