Account Assistant at AMD Trade Link ltd

Fold Pack is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our team in Nairobi.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing the day-to-day accounting activities of the business, including:

• ⁠Recording sales, purchases, expenses and payments
• ⁠Preparing and reconciling customer and supplier statements
• ⁠Bank and M-Pesa reconciliations
• ⁠Managing accounts receivable and following up outstanding payments
• ⁠Preparing supplier payments
• ⁠Petty cash management
• ⁠Supporting inventory and stock reconciliations
• ⁠Preparing VAT, PAYE and other statutory schedules
• ⁠eTIMS invoicing and reconciliation
• ⁠Assisting with payroll and monthly financial reports
• ⁠Maintaining accurate and well-organized accounting records

Requirements:

• ⁠Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• ⁠CPA qualification or currently pursuing CPA is an advantage
• ⁠Minimum 2 years of practical accounting experience
• ⁠Good knowledge of Excel and accounting software
• ⁠Strong understanding of reconciliations, bookkeeping and basic tax compliance
• ⁠Experience in manufacturing, distribution, packaging, FMCG or a stock-based business will be an added advantage
• ⁠High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail
• ⁠Able to work independently and meet deadlines
