Accounts Assistant at Pipe Masters and Plastics Limited

Responsibilities

• Raising LPOs as per the approved quotations or PI
• Accurately posting bills through the GRN process and direct bill registrations.
• Assist in processing bills for payments due to suppliers and making analysis of the bills paid.
• Posting Sales orders, invoicing customers, posting customer payments against related invoices, following up on payments from customers, responding to customers' requirements, correctly calculating Withholding VAT tax, and matching the same with the specific invoices.
• Generating Customer Statements for the sales Team.
• Posting petty cash transactions in the ERP Accounting system etc.
• Filing and submitting the statutory deductions that are NSSF, NHIF, VAT and withholding taxes.
• Banks and petty cash reconciliation.
• Filing of accounting documents and other important documents of the company.
• Assisting in any other administrative functions of the office as assigned
• Carrying out stock take as per samples issued by the Senior Accountant.
• Assist in audit process.
• Any other duty that maybe assigned by my supervisor or relevant authority

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting options as an added advantage
• CPA Level 2 or 3
• 2 to 3 years working experience –Manufacturing industry s added advantage
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus"
