Relationship Officer - Microfinance at Excelon Limited

Remuneration: Consolidated salary plus commission

Our client, a credit-only microfinance company offering business loans and payroll advances, seeks an experienced, results-oriented Relationship Officer to grow its customer portfolio, develop business partnerships and drive quality loan uptake.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and convert new customers to achieve monthly sales targets.
• Develop strategic partnerships and business-to-business relationships.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
• Present loan products to prospective customers and maintain an active sales pipeline.
• Follow up on loan repayments within the assigned portfolio.
• Assess customer suitability in line with the company’s credit policies.
• Gather market feedback and coordinate with internal teams to improve customer service and sales.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communication or a related field.
• At least 3 years’ sales experience, preferably in microfinance or financial services.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage customer relationships.
• Good understanding of credit risk and loan repayment management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, professional and committed to ethical conduct and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media.
