Accounts Intern at Moko Home and Living

 WHAT YOU’LL DO

Moko is looking for an individual with a self-driven individual to join our Finance team and assist in day to day accounting. The accounts intern will work closely with the accounting officers to ensure accurate invoicing and payment postings. They will also be excited to generate reports as well as maintain a proper filing system for easy retrieval of documents.

THE ROLE IN BRIEF

1. Invoicing
   1. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of invoices for both B2B and B2C orders with ETR receipts attached
   2. Work with the Accounts Receivable Officer in ensuring zero unexplained open invoices
2. B2C payment postings
   1. Ensure accurate payment postings for payments, refunds, prepayments, suspense account and commissions
   2. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for review and approval by the Accounts Receivable Officer
   3. Assist the Accounts Receivable Officer in ensuring there are zero unexplained open credits
3. Reporting & Filing
   1. Share B2C dispatch & previous day open invoices reports with the B2C team
   2. Prepare a daily reconciliation report by comparing daily sales with the Z report
   3. Ensure proper filing of the accounts receivable documents
