Aftersales Central Planning & Business Performance Analyst at Spiro

Role Purpose

• The Aftersales Central Planning & Business Performance Analyst is responsible for centralized planning, spare parts demand management, order consolidation, supply-pipeline visibility, spare parts costing analysis and business performance analytics across Spiro Aftersales operations in Africa.
• The role acts as the central analytical and planning link between Aftersales Country Leadership Teams, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Warehousing, Quality, Service Operations and the Head of Aftersales – Africa. It establishes one source of truth for demand, inventory, open orders, supply pipeline, landed cost, revenue and key operational performance metrics.
• The position is expected to move Aftersales from reactive ordering and historical reporting toward forecast-driven replenishment, proactive risk management and data-led business performance management that improves parts availability, fleet uptime, working-capital efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Central Aftersales Planning

• Coordinate the consolidated Aftersales planning cycle across all operating countries.
• Work closely with Aftersales Country Leadership Teams to translate fleet growth, bike deployment, service demand and network expansion into executable Aftersales plans.
• Consolidate country requirements into a Pan-African planning view and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual rolling forecasts.
• Standardize planning templates, assumptions, calendars and reporting methodologies across countries.
• Identify future capacity, inventory and supply risks before they impact operations.

Spare Parts Forecasting & Demand Planning

• Own central spare parts forecasting using Units in Operation (UIO), historical consumption, deployment forecasts, service intervals, failure rates, warranty trends, replacement ratios, bike model mix and network growth.
• Develop forecasts at country, bike model and SKU/part-number level.
• Review forecast versus actual consumption and drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy.
• Define and monitor safety stock, reorder parameters and critical-parts requirements.
• Segment inventory into fast-, medium-, slow- and non-moving categories and highlight abnormal consumption or stock-out risks.

Country Order Consolidation

• Receive, challenge and validate country spare parts requirements before consolidation.
• Validate requirements against available stock, open POs, goods in transit, historical consumption, forecast demand, safety stock and existing pipeline.
• Consolidate country requirements to optimize MOQ utilization without creating unnecessary overstock.
• Maintain the master consolidated order tracker and ensure approved requirements are submitted within the agreed planning calendar.

Procurement & Supply Pipeline Tracking

• Work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain to track orders end-to-end: Requirement → Consolidation → Approval → PR → PO → Supplier Confirmation → Payment → Production → Balance Payment → Shipment → Clearance → Transport → Receipt → Verification → Binning → Availability.
• Maintain a centralized Pan-African procurement and supply-pipeline tracker.
• Track supplier commitments, production status, shipment ETAs and lead-time performance.
• Coordinate visibility of payment dependencies with Finance and Procurement and escalate delays that threaten service operations or fleet uptime.
• Analyse actual order-to-availability lead time versus target and identify bottlenecks.

Spare Parts Costing & Commercial Analysis

• Conduct spare parts costing analysis covering supplier purchase price, freight, duties and taxes, clearance, inland logistics and total landed cost.
• Analyse cost variances against budget, standard cost and prior purchases.
• Track selling price, gross margin and margin movement by part, category, model and country.
• Identify parts with inadequate or negative margins and provide data-backed recommendations.
• Support pricing reviews, localization, alternative sourcing and make/buy decisions with Finance, Procurement and Aftersales Leadership.

Inventory Performance & Working Capital

• Monitor inventory value, accuracy, parts availability, fill rate, stock turns, days of inventory, ageing, excess stock, obsolete stock and stock-outs.
• Develop country inventory-health dashboards and identify opportunities for inter-country stock redistribution.
• Recommend actions to reduce excess and obsolete inventory while protecting service levels.
• Balance parts availability against working-capital efficiency and track inventory investment against budget.

Aftersales Business Performance Analytics

• Develop consolidated analytics for bike inflow, job cards, TAT, MTTR, fleet uptime, grounded bikes, First Time Fix, repeat repairs, technician productivity, workshop productivity, Service App utilization, parts consumption and warranty performance.
• Analyse country performance against targets and benchmarks, identifying gaps, trends, root causes, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Translate operational data into clear management actions rather than reporting numbers only.

Revenue & Financial Performance Analytics

• Consolidate spare parts revenue, labour revenue, total Aftersales revenue, gross margin, cost per repair, revenue per job card and revenue per service location.
• Analyse budget versus actual performance and identify revenue leakage and commercial growth opportunities.
• Support annual budgets, rolling forecasts and profitability analysis.

Country Performance Partnership

• Act as a central planning and performance business partner to Aftersales Country Leadership Teams.
• Conduct structured country performance reviews, challenge forecast assumptions and validate requirements.
• Support country corrective action plans and track agreed actions, owners and timelines to closure.
• Identify best practices for cross-country replication and escalate material risks to the Head of Aftersales – Africa.

Management Reporting & Executive Dashboards

• Develop standardized Pan-African Aftersales dashboards and weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports.
• Support Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Quarterly Business Reviews and executive presentations.
• Provide country-versus-country comparisons, actual versus target/budget views, key risks, root causes and corrective actions.
• Automate recurring reports wherever practical.

Data Governance & Digital Systems

• Support effective utilization of SAP/ERP, Service App, inventory systems, CRM, Power BI, Excel/Power Query and other Aftersales platforms.
• Maintain standardized KPI definitions and conduct data-quality and reconciliation checks.
• Drive improved reporting discipline, traceability and automation across countries.

Continuous Improvement

• Analyse the end-to-end Aftersales planning and order-to-availability process to identify bottlenecks and non-value-adding activities.
• Support transition from reactive ordering to forecast-driven replenishment.
• Develop analytical business cases for process improvements and track realized benefits.
• Promote fact-based and data-driven decision-making across Aftersales.

.Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related discipline.
• Professional certification in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Business Analytics, Power BI or Inventory Management is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years’ relevant professional experience.
• Strong preference for experience in automotive, two-wheeler, electric mobility, automotive spare parts, automotive distribution or manufacturing/service operations.
• Demonstrable experience in spare parts forecasting, demand planning, inventory analysis, procurement coordination and/or business performance analytics.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between fleet population, service demand, spare parts consumption, inventory investment, vehicle uptime and Aftersales revenue.
• Experience supporting multiple countries, branches, dealerships or service locations is highly desirable.
• Exposure to SAP/ERP environments is strongly preferred.
