Job Specifications

• This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. A technician at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer and can be deployed in any of the following functional areas:

Registration and Licensing 

• Receiving indexing, internship, registration and licensing forms from applicants for registration and licensing by the Board;
• Ascertaining attachments of required application documents; 
• Capturing and recording application information;
• Assisting in document management including e-filing ; and
• Attending to day-to-day enquiries on registration and licensing of veterinary practices.

Person Specification

For appointment to this grade an officer must have: -

• Certificate in Animal Health, Certificate in Animal Health and Production, Certificate in Animal Health and Range Management or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Registration by Kenya Veterinary Board and in good standing; 
• Proficiency in computer applications.
