    APM Area Quality Manager

    APM Area Quality Manager is responsible for managing and continuously improving the Area quality performance in line with KONE level targets. He/she is the management representative for quality. APM Area Quality Manager enables KONE to build Quality in our processes, and develop proactive Quality culture and mindset through increased competences, communication and best business practice sharing. S/he drives the development, implementation and follow-up of our processes, methods and systems to analyze and improve our Quality performance indicators

    Quality management

    • Promotes and develops proactive Quality culture, actively communicates the importance of Quality and engages the organization.
    • Promotes, with Unit management, the recognition and conformance to customer and KONE requirements.
    • Leads the Lean Six Sigma program across the Area, including competency development and project outcomes
    • Coaches and delivers Six Sigma projects and Kaizen events in Front Lines where required
    • Uses Maturity surveys to understand progress and gaps and works with the Unit SQE head to implement action plans
    • Responsible for the Environment stream of KONE’s Sustainability strategy, including emissions reductions plans, results and reporting.
    • Acts as the management representative for quality.
    • Analyses feedback from Customer and Field and proactively gathers and analyses other relevant data to identify continuous improvement opportunities in the processes in full chain.
    • Liaises with functional and operational leaders and teams globally and locally (e.g. in area, full chain quality management, R&D, production, sourcing, installation, maintenance, service, marketing, engineering, IT) to develop and execute continuous quality improvement projects.
    • Drives progress and monitors effectiveness of Lean six Sigma continuous improvement projects, corrective and preventative actions which are being logged within the organization and provides direction and support where needed.
    • Drives continuous reduction of quality related financial losses.
    • Is responsible for quality reporting (e.g. RUSH) in Area.
    • Facilitates and evaluates the implementation and contributes to the development of KONE Quality Management System (QMS, e.g. ISO), monitors its performance and combines its management with other management systems, such as environment and safety.
    • Is responsible for planning, execution and follow-up of (quality) audits as tool for assuring process compliance and identifying areas for process performance and quality improvement.
    • Leads and supports any required corrective actions required due to non-conformance.
    • Ensures that Quality Improvement Teams (QIT) are operating effectively at Frontline and participates in relevant QITs at area and global level.
    • Responsible for driving continuous development of quality competences within Unit by providing and promoting training in for example Corrective Action System (CAS) and Quality and Problem Solving tools.

    Leadership / People management

    • Represents the voice of the customer, uses this to build motivation for continuous improvement across the Area. Demonstrates ownership of quality by role-modelling.
    • Provides day-to-day leadership to the Frontline Quality team. Defines performance objectives, coaches and supports the people in Quality team to ensure desired behaviors and results are achieved; seeks & provides input to Personal Development process.

    Requirements:

    • Lean six sigma (black belt)- applied and practice those techniques (i.e Kaizen) and has run the six sigma program/ project
    • Hands-on experiences in a quality environment and ISO certification
    • Have fundamental about the quality processes – i.e: give customers great services and promote to continue to develop quality promotion
    • Hands-on experiences with Quality governance processes
    • Able to influence to change the way people work
    • Good collaborator
    • Good communication
    • Understand the different culture
    • Flexible to get things done
