Business Development Officers (Credit & Lending Focus) at People FOCO

Role Summary

Our client a Microfinance Bank is seeking to recruit Business Development Officers will be responsible for driving growth through client acquisition, credit appraisal support, relationship management, and promotion of financial products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Market and sell loan and financial products to individuals and businesses
• Advise clients on suitable credit products based on their financial needs
• Build and manage strong client relationships through regular meetings and follow-ups
• Conduct credit reviews, renewals, and support preparation of credit appraisals
• Analyze client financial data and assess creditworthiness
• Support loan processing, documentation, and disbursement activities
• Prospect for new clients and develop referral networks
• Ensure proper KYC documentation and confidentiality of client records
• Prepare loan presentations for internal credit committees

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or diploma in Business, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in business development or credit management
• Prior experience in banking or financial services preferred
• Strong customer relationship, communication, and analytical skills
