Application Support & Implementation Intern at Software Technologies Limited - STL

Duration:

• 3 Months

Stipend:

• Ksh 20,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line application support and troubleshoot user issues. 
• Assist in software implementation, configuration, and deployment. 
• Support the development and maintenance of applications using the Yii PHP Framework. 
• Assist in developing and maintaining BIRT Reports. 
• Write and optimize SQL queries and support database management activities. 
• Participate in software testing, debugging, documentation, and application maintenance. 
• Support application deployments and maintenance in Linux environments. 

Qualifications & Technical Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
• At least one (1) year of practical exposure in application development, implementation, or technical support through internships, industrial attachment, academic projects, freelance work, or employment. 
• Working knowledge of Yii Framework (PHP), PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. 
• Basic understanding of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle databases. 
• Exposure to developing or maintaining BIRT Reports is an added advantage. 
• Familiarity with Git and Linux environments.
