Responsibilities

• Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications
• Working closely with a team of other professionals such as project managers , engineers , construction managers  and quantity surveyors 
• Writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications and contracts
• Specifying the requirements for each project
• Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction
• Playing a role in project and team management
• Viewing building sites, proposed locations and client meetings.
• Meeting with clients and determining their needs and requirements.

1. Managing design projects from concept development through to completion.
2. Developing and presenting project proposals.
3. Adjusting designs and plans to meet the client's needs.
4. Determining and adhering to budgets and timelines.
