    Area Sales Manager - Fast-Moving Consumer Goods- Bomet

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, andmarketing expense controls.
    • Execute said plan and meet sales goals. Set individual sales targets with the sales team.
    • Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team and provide ongoing training of the sales people.
    • Assist in recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of salesrepresentatives.
    • Develop new avenues of marketing and lead generation.
    • Equip the sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
    • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
    • Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with prospective consumers and other relatedindustries to help strengthen partnerships.
    • Leverage the existing network and expand the company’s product reach and repeat business through relationship building and exceptional customer experience.
    • Collaborate with the team to properly coordinate project implementation, and customer service support interface, and proactively address problems/customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Provide regular feedback to management on market trends, competitive threats, andopportunities to deliver greater value to customers.
    • Strategic reporting on all sales activities including sales and prospecting activities, sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • A diploma/degree in Sales & Marketing or a related field – from a reputable institution.
    • A minimum of 3 years proven experience handling Fast-Moving Consumer Goods.
    • (FMCG) with at least 1 year’s experience managing and directing a sales team.
    • Spoken and written English communication with the highest standards of professionalismisrequired. Proficiency in customer relationship management.
    • Must be a fast learner, highly self-motivated, capable of producing high-impact work without supervision, adaptable, and self-confident.
    • Creativity to solve problems and develop ideas to improve workflow and efficiency.
    • Mental and emotional fortitude to thrive in a fast pace, high-production, performance-drivenenvironment.
    • High business acumen with excellent presentation and communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate complex information and adapt it to specific customers.
    • Strong relationship-building skills with a high degree of responsiveness, reliability, andintegrity.
    • Available immediately.
    • Preferably someone with previous experience in a similar Region
