ASP.Net Core C# Developer Trainee at Hanmak Technologies Ltd

Hanmak Technologies is a Software Development Company located in Mlolongo, along Mombasa Road.
Our ASP.Net Core Developer Trainee Programme is designed to take three months. During this period, the trainee will be responsible for building C# Dot Net Core applications, including anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts, developing and integrating new functionalities into existing applications.

The responsibilities of the trainee will be to design and develop applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers and micro services of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. Opportunity to join our Research & Development Team will be given to the best performing trainees who successfully complete the programme.

Responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Build reporting tools and avail such on our enterprise systems
• Offer user support for existing applications
• Automate and execute test cases under varying circumstances.
• Document and evaluate test results.

Skills

• Proficient in C# development for web applications (ASP.Net Core MVC, HTML, AJAX, JQUERY, JSON, Bootstrap, JavaScript, XML, Fast Report and CSS)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Skill for writing reusable C# libraries
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming in C#
• Knowledge and skills in Micro-Service Architecture
• Knack for writing clean, readable and well-documented C# code
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind  scalable applications
• Familiarity with Relational Database Management Systems.
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
• Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD)
• Possess strong problem-solving, as well as oral and written communication skills
• Be an excellent problem solver, with good research skills
