For two decades, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) has been helping make the world safer from drugs, organized crime, corruption and terrorism. This position is located in the UNODC Regional Office for Eastern Africa (ROEA), Nairobi, Kenya, Division for Operations (DO), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Programme Management Officer heading the Transnational Organized Crime, Illicit Trafficking and Countering Terrorism Programme (TOC/CT) and the overall guidance of the UNODC Representative for Eastern Africa (ROEA).
Responsibilities
Within assigned authority, the incumbent will assist in administrative areas of the Office including human resource administration, financial administration, travel administration, and project/programme planning. The roles will be performed in conformity with administrative instructions, United Nations (UN) Financial Rules and regulation, and the policies for the implementation of the projects.
