Assistant Database Administrator at Karatina University

Job Description

• Installing and configuring Dynamics Navision/Dynamics 365 Solution.
• Create new and modify existing components (extensions, code units, pages, reports) of Dynamics Navision/Dynamics 365.
• Integrate Dynamics NAV with other systems using APIs/web services.
• Debug and fix errors in Dynamics Solution.
• Develop and maintain server-side functionality.
• Create and implement APIs for data exchange.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and web masters.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into secure backend solutions.
• Develop, test, debug, and deploy backend code extensions (C/AL, C/SIDE).
• Integrate Dynamics NAV 2016 or higher/ Dynamics 365 with external systems.
• Design and develop database structures using SQL Server.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Perform code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues.
• Optimize database performance.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest backend development technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least eleven (11) years relevant work experience, with five (5) years in developing solutions with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 or higher/ Dynamics 365.
• Certification in Dynamics 365. Proven proficiency in C/AL.
• Membership registration in a relevant professional body.
• Masters Degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
