Assistant F&B Controller at Karen Country Club

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Finance Department as an Assistant F&B Controller. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, family-oriented club environment. You will be responsible for supporting the Food & Beverage Control Department by managing inventory, monitoring costs, and preparing timely reports, all while upholding the club's high standards of excellence and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily and monthly stock takes, ensure accurate physical counts, and update variance reports.
• Ensure timely collection and proper filing of chits from outlets for accountability and billing.
• Prepare accurate and timely F&B cost and revenue reports, reconcile stock takes, and follow up on shortages or recoveries.
• Monitor slow-moving items and provide recommendations to prevent losses.
• Analyse event sales, ensure accurate billing, and verify all necessary documentation is complete.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in either Accounting, Procurement, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• CPA Intermediate or higher is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within a busy hospitality establishment.
• Proficiency in using accounting software.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High level of ethics, integrity, and attention to detail.
