Technical Sales Representative - Animal Feed at Career Options Africa Ltd

Background Information

J&I is a start-up company in the manufacturing sector, operating a small scale but fast-growing human food and animal feed business in Nairobi. 

THE JOB

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Technical Sales Representative to promote and sell high-quality animal feed products. The role is open to the three regions: Nairobi, Kiambu and Nakuru.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

1. Sign up new customers including farmers, agro-dealers, retail outlets, and distributors within the assigned region.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure consistent order flow and customer satisfaction.
3. Monitor stock levels at customer locations and coordinate timely replenishment of animal feed products.
4. Gather market intelligence on customer needs, livestock trends, and competitor activity, and recommend product improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

The job holder should have the following qualifications. 

1. Certificate in animal health or related field. Those with a diploma in animal health or production will have an added advantage.
2. At least 1 year of working experience selling animal related commodities, agrovets and or farmers
3. Having existing customer base is a mandatory requirement
