Job Overview:
Our client, a tour & travel and logistics company, is seeking to hire an Accounting Associate to join their team. This role requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to process financial transactions, identify errors, improve processes, and ensure financial clarity. The ideal candidate will prioritize accuracy, efficiency, and the resolution of financial discrepancies, leaving no detail unchecked or unresolved.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Review & Error Detection
- Thoroughly check, verify, and re-verify financial transactions for accuracy and justification.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations, supplier invoice checks, and internal financial reviews.
- Ensure all financial transactions have complete and audit-ready supporting documentation.
Critical Analysis & Problem Solving
- Analyze financial data for inconsistencies, missing details, and potential risks.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies while pushing for clarity and accuracy.
- Identify and propose improvements to enhance financial workflows and efficiency.
Proactive FinancialOversight & Goal Driven Execution
- Resolve challenges proactively, finding solutions for blocked or complex tasks.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ of experience in the accounting field.
- Experience in financial auditing, reconciliations, or forensic accounting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with accounting software, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- Industry experience in tourism, hospitality, or service businesses.
