Reporting to the Hospital Manager, this position is responsible for:
Planning, organizing and coordinating the maintenance of medical equipment within the hospital including preparing and implementing the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
Carrying out routine repairs, preparing budgets and tracking costs
Maintaining accurate records and reporting
Equipment calibration and safety checks
User training on equipment use and ensuring health and safety compliance.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be in possession of a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering with 2 years’ experience or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering with at least 4 years’ experience.

Successful candidates must have technical skills in managing medical equipment, excellent planning and organization skills, machine equipment trouble shooting skills and attention to details
