Senior Product Manager, Core Banking at Brave Venture Labs

About this role

• Develop a company-wide understanding of our users, and define a strategy to help customers feel secure and in control of their finances.
• Drive product roadmap and prioritization of the product backlog.
• Make tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation.
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as engineers, designers, growth managers etc, to successfully execute and deliver value to customers.
• Monitor, improve and iterate on existing features based on data insights and customer feedback.
• Define, track and monitor OKRs and core metrics for your focus area.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven experience in building financial products, with at least 2 years as a product manager.
• A solid foundation of accounting principles – accounts receivable and payable etc.
• Experience with agile software development practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow you to articulate your ideas clearly and effectively.
• You don’t accept the status quo – you possess the ability to think creatively beyond what has been done before to build a strategy rooted in qualitative and quantitative data.
• Entrepreneurial and driven with a track record of building and scaling intuitive, compelling consumer-focused products.
• You form opinions based on a combination of data, lessons learned, and gut instinct.
• Have developed compelling product visions and made strategic decisions about new markets, new products, and features.
• A deep understanding of open banking and/or prior experience working on core banking software is a plus.
