    Global IT Director

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Direct the design, selection, and implementation of all of Burn’s IT, hardware, software, and network solutions.
    • Create short and long-term strategic goals for managing and maintaining systems and software. Take a lead role in the technical planning for implementation.
    • Ensure that all Burns’ systems are well-integrated globally.
    • Collaborate with all business units to create system requirements and success criteria.
    • Identify software, hardware, and web solutions. Communicating the justification and reasoning to senior management and other stakeholders.
    • Ensure solutions meet all technical, business, and user needs.
    • Establish best practices for all network engineers, software engineers, and other staff.
    • Monitor network status and key indicators to ensure optimal performance and identify maintenance and improvement needs.
    • Design and direct implement a test plan to check network performance.
    • Ensure data and hardware systems are safe and secure.
    • Manage an in-house team of systems, software, and hardware engineers.
    • Role may involve travel to other cities /countries as necessary

    Skills and Experience:

    • 10+ years of related experience in the related technology industry.
    • BS/MS in Computer Science or Information Technology.
    • Proven experience leading the design and implementation of business management systems.
    • Prior knowledge and experience managing and or implementing ERP, EPDM, CRM, SPM, or CCM systems.
    • In-depth knowledge of enterprise systems, networking modules, and software integration.
    • Developing network systems in a manufacturing context is a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Knowledgeable Scrum Master or proficient in Agile methodologies.
    • Working knowledge of AWS product ecosystem.
    • Previous experience writing code is a plus.
