    Business Analyst

    Responsibilities

    • Work with the team to analyses data and proactively develop solutions to improve the business operations, profitability, and overall performance.
    • Develop a backflushing system to ensure strict adherence to the companies' recipes, to safeguard the company reputation and resources.
    • Implement and run an efficient exception reporting system that will highlight anything that falls outside of company accepted parameters.
    • Maintain, improve, and evolve company dashboards in line with the company's goal of creating accessible, visualized data for all to understand.
    • Foster excellent interpersonal skills within the team dynamic being a good mentee and mentor the junior team members.
    • Collate, analyses and present shift/daily/weekly/monthly performance data against defined parameters and identify and communicate continual improvement opportunities.
    • Work closely with the Finance Manager to develop and meet operating budgets through effective planning and strict adherence to SOP's and company policies.
    • Communicate any incident, non-conformity, quality defect or machine malfunction you are involved in or witness immediately to your team leader or any member of the Senior Leadership Team.
    • Be aware that your performance and abilities will be closely monitored by the Senior Leadership Team.

    Requirements

    • Diploma in business studies or accounting from an established education institute.
    • Three years' experience working in an industrial environment.
    • Knowledge of statistical process control and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • The ability to identify problems and formulate solutions with a quick turnaround.
    • High level of proficiency in Word, Excel and Google Looker.
    • Fundamental knowledge of ISO 22000.
    • Highly effective communicator who can express ideas to all team members.
    • Attention to details with the ability to identify quality.
