    Business Analyst

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist the Group Financial Controller with daily tasks, follow up and monitoring of important matters and project management.
    • Undertake detailed research and analysis to assist in management decisions.
    • Applying business acumen to develop feasible data-based recommendations that will address organizational problems;
    • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets,
    • To support the business units, perform financial analysis, report findings to assist in the financial decisions.
    • Apply finance knowledge to effectively diagnose situations and/or help provide solutions.
    • Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organization.
    • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
    • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the organizations actual performance compared to the business plans.
    • Build models that are sophisticated, robust, and easily interpreted to inform insights.
    • Research and conduct analysis to compile key deal documents to support the business in decision making.
    • Assist with preparation and review of Board Packs.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics or another related field.
    • Requires in-depth knowledge in Planner, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Financial Modeling
    • 1-3 years of relevant technical and business experience
    • CPA/ACCA is an added advantage
    • Experience working with diverse teams
    • Ability to work proactively within a demanding environment.
