Business Intelligence Specialist at Ezra

About the role:

• We are looking for a person to extend our Business Intelligence team. The core responsibility of the team is the internal and external reporting. You will be gathering inputs and requirements from relevant stakeholders, evaluating the feasibility of the requirements, designing the solution that will meet all the requirements and will fit into the existing reports portfolio, and implementing the solution. This role includes both data pipeline design and implementation in Python and data visualization and report creation in Tableau.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the key business stakeholders, gathering reporting requirements, and implementing the desired reports.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain ETL pipelines in Python.
• Creating various data visualizations in Tableau is a major part of the work.
• Suggest appropriate statistical approaches to the measurement of company KPIs.
• Assist in the evaluation of new technologies for adoption.

Minimal Qualifications and Experience:

• Working proficiency with Python or any other programming or scripting language
• Advanced working proficiency with SQL
• Working proficiency with any RDBMS, including performance optimizations.
• Experience with GIT.
• Experience with Excel.
• Familiarity with report creation via Tableau.
• Familiarity with the Linux environment as a user and developer (Debian is a plus).
• Being familiar with the Windows environment as a user and developer.
• Minimum of 2+ years of working experience

Ideal Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of the PostgreSQL database system
• Experience with software development best practices.
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
• Experience with Debian server administration and setup.
• Working proficiency in Java or C/C++ is a plus.
• Proficiency with Docker or other container solutions.
• Deep knowledge of the Tableau ecosystem.
