Business Intelligence Team Lead at Wasoko

Duties & Responsibilities

• Owning company-wide financial services and logistics analytics
• Leading a team of 3 data analysts
• Building new and maintaining existing PowerBI reports
• Ensuring data quality and effectiveness of BI tools and data models
• Performing high-impact analyses and providing insights into the business
• Collecting requirements/specs from stakeholders and transforming them into tangible reports
• Drafting functional and technical documentation
• Bridging between business stakeholders and the tech team
• Training members of other business units on the use of self-service BI

Requirements

• Strong B2B, B2C/B2B2C e-commerce domain knowledge
• 7+ years prior experience in the Data world
• 3+ years prior experience in leading Data Engineering & Data Science teams
• Bachelor or Masters degree in a quantitative field from a premier institute
• Excellent problem solving, prototyping articulation & communication skills
• Experience with ETL, Data Lake, Data Mart, Data Analytics, Data Models & Statistics
• Ability to think critically and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
• Experience working in a fast paced environment leading multiple high-priority issues
• Experience using data tools and any programming languages like (Python or R and SQL)
• Experience using data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
