Business Systems Analyst at Fidelity Shield Insurance

The key deliverable for the role is ensuring that the infrastructure required to run the business of Fidelity runs efficiently and optimally.

Qualifications;

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business systems analysis, application support, or a similar role, preferably in the insurance or financial sector, supporting ERP and business applications.
• Proven experience in supporting business applications, troubleshooting, and managing system integrations within a complex IT environment.
• Experience with business process modelling, analysis, and documentation, and familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Solid understanding of front-end and back-end technologies, including Web Logic, Java, Oracle, and PHP, especially in relation to Turnkey GIS, HAIS, and Turnkey-FMS.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, with advanced certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMP (Project Management Professional), or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) being an added advantage.
• Certification or training in relevant software or platforms, such as Oracle, Java, or PHP, aligned with the technologies used in the company's systems.
• Experience with system implementation, upgrades, and integrations in a financial services or insurance environment is highly desirable.
