Royal Media Services Limited wishes to recruit competent individuals to the position of Cameraperson to help meet the growing demands of the organization

Key roles & responsibilities

• Preparation and maintenance of Camera and other related gears.
• Understanding story ideas and program scripts before the actual shoot
• Generating ideas to head of desks, editors and producers
• Understand the required result when assign to do a Recce
• Exercising judgment on the best camera angle in terms of Ambience.
• Proper Understanding of Directing Terminologies while doing Multi Camera Operation
• Preparing for pre-recorded and Live Broadcast Events
• Understanding and complying with media law and industry codes of conduct.

Academic and professional /work Experience

• Diploma or Equivalent in Video production in a recognized institution or any other related field
• Not less than 3years relevant experience as a Camera operator in a busy media house or a renowned Tv program production company.

Essential Competences

• Excellent in video production, Lighting and sound Recording.
• Must be well conversant with two editing Software and excellent Editing skills
• Be able to generate new ideas for both editorial content and production creativity
• Scripting for factual film is an added advantage.
• Creative filming is an added advantage
• Ability to communicate effectively
