    Carbon Business Developer

    Are you a Business Developer who is a carbon offset guru? Do you have previous experience with carbon offset projects and carbon credits? If you have a strong sales background on top of your carbon offset knowledge, then you could be someone we’re looking for!

    The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field as well as a Master’s Degree. You will need to have at least 3 years of experience in business development along with a proven track record of meeting sales targets! You should also have hands-on client management and relationship building experience. Please do not apply if you don’t have a good knowledge of carbon offsetting and carbon credits – this is vital to your success in this role! We are looking for someone who can easily build and maintain relationships with clients and potential clients, has a familiarity with driving strategic partnerships, and has robust organisational and research skills. As the Business Developer, you will be responsible for new business development, partnership development, increasing carbon offsetting footprint, proposing material design and development, business intelligence and lead generation, and reporting/forecasting.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field
    • Master’s degree is beneficial
    • MBA is beneficial

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • 3+ years of experience in Business Development
    • Previous experience with carbon offset projects and carbon credits
    • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
    • Good knowledge of carbon offsetting

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Your responsibilities will be broken down into new business development, partnership development, increasing carbon offsetting footprint, proposing material design and development, business intelligence and lead generation, and reporting/forecasting.

    • Self-motivated and driven
    • Robust salesmanship
    • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
    • Ability to speak and understand French and/or German is beneficial
