Carpenter (Bespoke Furniture & Interiors) at Mozza Interiors

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate Carpenter to join our workshop. This isn't a role for "cookie-cutter" installations; we specialize in high-end, one-of-a-kind bespoke furniture and architectural interior fittings. You will take projects from raw timber to finished masterpiece, working with exotic hardwoods, integrated lighting, and specialized hardware.

Key Responsibilities

• Precision Fabrication: Interpret complex technical drawings to craft custom furniture and built-in architectural features.
• On-Site Installation: Lead the installation of interior fittings (shelving, ornate paneling, walk-in wardrobes) with a "zero-tolerance" approach to gaps or errors.
• Material Mastery: Select, prep, and mill various timber species, ensuring grain matching and structural integrity.
• Joinery Excellence: Execute traditional and modern joinery techniques, including dovetails, mortise-and-tenon, and high-end veneer work.
• Finishing & Quality Control: Perform fine sanding and coordinate with the finishing team for oils, lacquers, or paints to ensure a flawless surface.
