Chef/Trained Cook at Vanessa Grant Girls School

Duties and Responsibilities.

• Plan and prepare all meals.
• Managing the school menu and inventory related to the task.
• Ensure cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area.
• Managing food items/kitchen suppliers.
• Provide leadership to the kitchen staff.
• Budgeting.
• Preparing kitchen requisition in a timely manner.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Principal.

Minimum requirements and Qualifications.

• Diploma in Food and beverages/food production/catering or any other related field.
• At least (5) years of extensive practical experience.
• Experience in a school set up shall be an added advantage.
• Be a good communicator (fluent in English and Swahili).
• Be wee groomed and conform to the kitchen dress code.
• Possess a valid food handlers’ certificate.
