About the Role

• AminiKa Manpower is recruiting for a highly skilled Chief Accountant to lead accounting operations for our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions including ledger, payables/receivables, reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan tax regulations and statutory obligations
• Lead and supervise junior accounting staff
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial audits
• Develop and enforce internal financial controls and policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• ACCA qualification is highly required
• Minimum 6–8 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and IFRS
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Sage, or similar)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
