Job Requirement

• Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in law from a recognized university;
• Is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in good standing;
• Has at least five (5) years continuous practice post admission to the bar;
• Holds a valid practicing certificate;
• Meets the Requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010;
• Demonstrates excellent communication and reporting skills;

Job Description

• Providing legal support to respective County Sectors.
• Making periodic reports to the Director on legal issues affecting respective County Sector.
• Performing legal and regulatory risk analysis to enhance decision making and statutory intervention.
• Procuring instructions and witnesses in matters pending before court.
• Reviewing the contents of pleadings in matters affecting respective sectors
• Advising County Sectors on various legal issues touch.        
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
