Job Requirement

• They possess a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in good standing.
• Must have served satisfactorily as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya for at least five (5) years post admission to the bar.
• Demonstrated Professional competence in work performance and results.
• Must possess excellent leadership skills, ability to work under pressure.
• Must demonstrate excellent organizational problem solving and supervisory skills.

Job Description

• Interpreting the Constitution statutes and subsidiary legislation for the County Government departments entities.
• Conducting research for the County Government and it’s entities on various challenges encountered in the implementation of their legal mandate.
• Coordinating capacity building on legal compliance for the County Executive entities.
• Informing the County Executive and its entities of any current legal developments in various fields.
• Conducting research on all legal matters including Contracts, Civil Litigation and Legislation to support other departments in the office of the County Attorney in the execution of their mandate.
• Assisting in the charging and Prosecution of offenders at the City Court.
