They possess a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from a recognized institution.
Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in good standing.
Must have served satisfactorily as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya for at least five (5) years post admission to the bar.
Demonstrated Professional competence in work performance and results.
Must possess excellent leadership skills, ability to work under pressure.
Must demonstrate excellent organizational problem solving and supervisory skills.
Job Description
Interpreting the Constitution statutes and subsidiary legislation for the County Government departments entities.
Conducting research for the County Government and it’s entities on various challenges encountered in the implementation of their legal mandate.
Coordinating capacity building on legal compliance for the County Executive entities.
Informing the County Executive and its entities of any current legal developments in various fields.
Conducting research on all legal matters including Contracts, Civil Litigation and Legislation to support other departments in the office of the County Attorney in the execution of their mandate.
Assisting in the charging and Prosecution of offenders at the City Court.
