    Chief Growth Officer

    To drive its growth, REDAVIA is recruiting a Chief Growth Officer, based remote / hybrid in Nairobi, Accra, Lagos, or Johannesburg, with a target start date in Q2 ‘22.

    Role

    The Chief Growth Officer drives the following REDAVIA activities:

    Marketing:

    • Oversee and support the activities of REDAVIA’s marketing teams
    • Ensure REDAVIA’s continue brand positioning as a market leader in B2B solar-as-a-service in our current markets (Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania)
    • Develop REDAVIA’s market-leading brand position in new markets (Nigeria and South Africa)

    Sales:

    • Sales management: Energize and support REDAVIA’s direct sales team in Ghana, Kenya (plus soon Nigeria and South Africa)
    • Strategic account management support: Develop win-win relationships with senior teams of strategic accounts globally
    • Closing support: Oversee and provide ad-hoc support to negotiate and close solar farm lease contracts with prospective solar lessees
    • Channel management: Further develop REDAVIA’s sales agent network to generate better access to key decision-makers in target markets

    Customer Success Management:

    • Liaise with REDAVIA’s customer success management team to drive retention, referrals, and upsells
    • Leverage sales team customer relationships to help resolve client satisfaction issues during the solar plant deployment and operational phases

    The Chief Growth Officer role owns the growth of the company and offers the successful candidate a chance to have a significant impact on the REDAVIA’s success, on the solar power sector, and on the sustainable development of Africa as a whole.
