    Education

    • Advanced University degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in business or public administration, management, human resources management, finance, accounting, information technology or related fields. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

    Work Experience

    •  At least fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible and diverse professional experience in public or business administration, human resource management, finance, accounting, information technology or related area is required.
    •  Experience in handling complex organizational issues at the international level is desirable.
    •  Experience providing services to or in a field operation of the United Nations Common System or a comparable international organization is desirable.
    •  Hands-on-experience with UN administrative/financial policies and practices is desirable.

    Languages

    English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required.
