Chinese-English Translator (Two Potisions Available) at TARO Links

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chinese-English Translator located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Chinese-English Translator will be responsible for translating documents, websites, and other materials from Chinese to English and vice versa. The Translator will work closely with clients and team members to ensure accurate and contextually appropriate translations. The role also includes proofreading translations, conducting research to understand context, and maintaining consistent use of terminology.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Chinese and English, both written and spoken
• Experience in translating from Chinese to English and vice versa
• Proofreading and Editing skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Familiarity with translation software is a plus
