Claims & Reconciliation Officer at Luton Hospital

JOB PURPOSE:

• Ensure the coordination of Insurance/Corporate daily operations, including the generation of payable claims and the implementation of Insurance contractual obligations.
• Oversee timely verification, accurate and complete claiming of invoices, reconciliation of paid claims, and proper allocation, all in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Insurance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Training in health insurance claims management, medical billing, or healthcare financing is desirable.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in claims processing, medical billing and account reconciliations preferably in a healthcare setup.
• Experience working with insurance providers (SHA, private insurers) and understanding their claims processes.
• Background in reconciliations, credit control, or revenue cycle management is highly preferred.
