Cleaners at Integrated Staffing and Training Limited

Our client, a lounge in the airport, is seeking to recruit cleaners with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. The successful candidate should be able to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a hospitality industry and be living within JKIA environs.

Location JKIA

Salary 20,000 Kshs

Transport and food will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Schedule and conduct all cleaning and maintenance services in the lounge.
2. Carry out routine inspection of assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are established.
3. Prepare and monitor execution of checklists for assigned duties to ensure full compliance to cleaning standards.
4. Checking the quality of cleaning chemicals and supplies to ensure they meet the required standards.
5. Monitor the usage of cleaning chemicals and supplies and advise the management on requisition.
6. Carry out monthly evaluation of cleaning and maintenance services and prepare related reports to ensure feedback on the services is duly received and documented.
7. Identify and report all repairs and maintenance issues in assigned areas and follow up with maintenance department to ensure timely response.
8. Ensure proper segregation, handling, and transportation of waste in line with waste management guidelines.
9. Receive and attend to complaints related to cleaning and maintenance services.
10.  Any other responsibilities that may be assigned to the job holder by the supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications

1. High school Certificate.
2. Housekeeping certificate is an added advantage.
3. Must be fluent in English.
4. Minimum of 3 years’ housekeeping/cleaning experience in a hospitality environment.
5. Knowledge in the use of different machines, floor finishes and cleaning chemicals.
6. Customer service skills.
