Clinic Nurse at Reputable Company

A busy specialist outpatient clinic in Nairobi’s Upperhill area is looking for a motivated person to fill in the position of clinic nurse.

Duties:

• Handle clinic telephone and email inquiries
• Organize clinic bookings
• Organize hospital schedules for the doctor
• Book and coordinate hospital procedures
• Organize the smooth running of the clinic
• Triage of patients
• Explain procedures to patients and relatives
• Assist in minor clinic surgical procedures
• Work as a scribe for the doctor’s notes
• Coordinate pre-authorization for insurance patients
• Follow up radiology and laboratory results for clinic and hospital patients
• Schedule follow-up visits for hospital patients
• Procure clinic consumables
• Prepare clinic reports

Minimum qualifications for this post are:

• Current registration with Nursing Council
• Three (3) years working experience in a similar setting

• ACLS and BLS training
