    Co-Operative Development Officer II

    REF: LCPSB/ADV/23-24/51

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supervision of Cooperative developmentprogrammes
    • Project appraisal
    • Credit administration
    • Development and implementation of accounting systems
    • Enforcing the Co-operative Societies Act, legislations and rules therein and Societies by-laws
    • Advising the society on proper conduct of meetings and implementing Co-operative policies.
    • Implementation of policies and coordination of all cooperative development activitics
    • Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

    REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
    For Appointment to this grade a candidate must have:

    • Be aKenyan citizen;
    • Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines:
    • Cooperative Management, Business Administration, Sociology, Law, Commerce, Entrepreneurship Management and organisational Development or Economics from recognised institution; and
    • Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution.

    • Those with Degrees from foreign Universities should attach proof of accreditation from the Commission for University Education;
    • Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce the original National Identity Card, Academic and Valid Professional Certificates and other relevant supporting documents;
