    Commercial Manager – E- Commerce

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Reporting to the E-Commerce Lead, the Commercial Manager – E- Commerce will be responsible for: 

    • Create and implement strategies that make online transactions possible. Building & executing the commercial campaigns.
    • Creating product value add and share customer insight online shopping traits.
    • Achievement of annual targets in terms of revenue and operating expenses.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Key Responsibilities

    • Devising strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales in our online store.
    • Driving the sales performance of the e-commerce platform.
    • Managing and executing promotional campaigns.
    • Providing insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify assortment gaps.
    • Providing analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by department, new product sell-through, and offering code performance.
    • Directing the activities of software developers, copywriters, and graphic designers to ensure careful adherence to predetermined strategies.
    • Creating promotional offers and checking to see that these are uploaded precisely.
    • Reviewing copy and legal disclaimers to verify their accuracy.
    • Analyzing traffic to inform website maintenance and the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
    • Working closely with demand planning and warehousing teams in order to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

    Key performance indicators

    • Grow E-Commerce marketplace/Services model and increase customer uptake 5X.
    • Address the 5 stages of the digital funnel.
    • Review the value propositions to drive customer engagement and uptake.

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience

    • You are a creative and strategic thinker with a strong customer orientation.
    • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, thrive in matrix environments and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders.
    • Team spirit, strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Degree in Marketing Management, Business, Information Systems, or similar.
    • Completion of a pertinent sales qualification is preferred.
    • Extensive experience as an E-Commerce manager.
    • Demonstrated track record of devising sales-enhancing strategies.
    • Sound knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in E-Commerce.
    • Unmatched supervision, research, and troubleshooting skills.
    • Exceptional consulting and quality assurance abilities.
    • Ability to tackle the demands of ever-evolving technological implements with ease.
