Construction Project Manager at Adroit Facilities Limited(AFL)

Job Details

• Attend client’s meetings and conceptualise client’s instructions, measure and produce detailed design of required projects.
• Measuring of building works and preparation of quotations.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the projects.
• Be able to define & procure materials.
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) with attention to budgetary limitations.
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
• Allocate responsibilities to staff and third party contractors.
• Supervise the work of labourers, technicians etc. and give them guidance when needed.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Quality control to ensure projects are delivered in the highest standards possible.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues

Requirements

• Proven experience as construction project manager of a minimum of 2 years.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, project and facility management principles
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of interior works.
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with CMMS/CAFM Software.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities
• BSc Construction Management, Bachelor of Technology in Building Construction or relevant field
• Knowledge of ArchiCAD will be an added advantage.
• IFMA, PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
