    Consultancy: Conduct Formative Research

    Under the supervision of UNICEF Kenya office and in close collaboration with Ministry of Health (Division of nutrition and Dietetics) and IFPRI (Global research lead), the overall objective of this consultancy is to conduct formative research to identify effective and feasible wasting detection and treatment approaches, and to conduct other wasting related research activities. [Insert purpose of post and bullet points on main activities]

    To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have

    • Advanced university degree in Public Nutrition, Public Health, Epidemiology, Demography, Statistics, Development studies, Social Sciences, or related disciplines
    •  At least 10 years of professional experience in nutrition, public health, or related fields at the national and international level
    • Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
    • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
