Consultant Physician at Imara Mediplus Medical Centre

JOB SUMMARY
To provide high-quality patient care, contribute to the development of treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage specialist clinic through reviewing and managing outpatient
• Admit and manage inpatient as well as review inpatient cases when called upon
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions
• Provide expert consultations for complex cases and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits to enhance patient care and hospital services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including clinical notes and diagnostic reports.
• Participate in marketing activities to promote the Hospital's brand and Train and mentor doctors and nurses
• Advice on strategy for department growth and participate in formulation of departmental SOPs
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including infection control protocols and patient confidentiality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery.
• Master's degree in Internal Medicine.
• Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council with a Valid Practice License.
• Certificate in ACLS, BLS will be an added advantage.
• Professional Insurance Indemnity Cover as well as Proficiency in computer applications.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience as a Physician with in-depth knowledge and experience in echocardiography. JOB SKILLS
