Content Creator at Hotpoint Appliances Ltd

Job Purpose

• Produce a high volume of fresh, on-trend content for Hotpoint and the brands in our portfolio. Content Creators are fast, agile and always on top of what is working online.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, edit and publish short-form video and photo content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and the website
• Spot trends, sounds and formats early and turn them into on-brand content within days, not weeks
• Produce product demos, unboxings, how-to videos, and in-store and event coverage
• Work with the marketing team to support campaign content plans
• Follow brand guidelines for Hotpoint and for partner brands
• Support influencer and creator activations with briefs, on-set direction and edits
• Track content performance and use the results to improve what gets made next
• Keep an organized content library of raw and final files

Key measures of success

• Number of content pieces delivered each week against the content plan
• Engagement, reach and follower growth on owned channels
• Speed from trend spotted to content published
• Share of content approved first time

Skills and experience

• 1–3 years creating content for a brand, agency or own channels (a strong portfolio matters more than a degree)
• Confident with phone and camera shooting, lighting and sound
• Fast editor in CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut or similar; Canva or Adobe skills are a plus
• Lives on social media and understands what works on each platform
• Confident on camera, or comfortable directing others
• Agile, curious and happy to work to tight deadlines
• Interest in tech, home appliances or lifestyle content is a plus

What success looks like in 6 months

• Delivering an agreed weekly content quota with consistent quality
• At least one content series running on owned channels

• Candidates must share a portfolio or links to content they have created.
